The Editor

David Miller has written more than forty books on weapons and warfare through the ages, from the era of knights in armor to the present high-technology period. He is a former British Army officer, who spent his service in England, the Falkland Islands, Germany, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Scotland, and Singapore. He subsequently worked as a freelance author contributing articles to militaria magazines and specialist defense journals, and for three years was a journalist for Jane's Information Group during which time he was editor of the two-volume Jane's Major Warships.
